Am I lying? Well that's certainly an Epimenides paradox...
Rev. Green appeared in a pub one evening.
He said, to no one in particular, "Hello, I very much enjoy horse sports. Do you know where I might purchase a winning filly?"
No one knew, no one answered, and Rev. Green bid them all adieu...
My birthday is Arkansas
Senator Scarlet organized her first rally at age seven. She thought it ridiculous to move Halloween from Thursday to Friday because of school. She managed to get her petition signed by over two thousand community children. Fifteen hundred showed up for the rally on Thursday night, chanting, "It's Halloween NOW, not Tomorrow! Give us candy!" Local store owners caved and launched their buckets of treats at the mob. It was the night it rained candy.
The pen and the sword? Fallacies and phalluses
Wellington Mustard III hates bullies. He was the smallest kid in his class and often picked on. His slight frame made it impossible to fight physically, but he could fight with his brain. Using elaborate schemes, he would trick, discombobulate, and bamboozle the bullies until they either gave up or turned themselves in. The talent proved useful in his 3 tours where his strategies saw the least amount of casualties and swiftest resolutions.
Interesting note: he also likes to knit.
My favorite thing? Hand grenades
Dr. White: brain surgeon, fashionista, and socialite. Dr. White may have grown up with a family fortune, but she made a name for herself through her revolutionary surgical procedures (and her equally cutting wit). Dr. White first made waves on the medical scene when she pioneered the first ever total brain transplant, and she has continued creating innovative procedures to this day. When she’s not saving lives, she trades in her white lab coat for the black tie dress code of the city’s finest galas.
Picking out an elegant outfit? It’s not brain surgery, darling...
Justice Peacock has always been a shrewd judge of character and an even more eloquent speaker. During her early law career, people used to gather outside the courthouse windows in the hopes of seeing and hearing her scathing cross-examinations. (Rumor has it that she once got a defendant to confess to murder with a single stern gaze). Working her way up through the court system in record time, Justice Peacock became the youngest and most formidable member of the supreme court at the early age of 30. In her spare time, justice Peacock likes to keep her deductive abilities honed by competing in poker tournaments. As with her record as an attorney, she is undefeated.
What use is a work of fiction, when faces are so much more interesting to read?
